I’m Dr. Katie MacGregor, a physician, educator, yoga teacher, adventurer and human who has learned, sometimes the hard way, what happens when we override our bodies for too long.
I’ve worked in many facets of medicine; general practice, sports and exercise medicine, emergency medicine and more.
I am a 500hr registered yoga teacher with more than 700 hours of training in yoga, breathwork, somatics and meditation and have completed a one year graduate degree from Vancouver Island University in Psychedelic studies.
My clinical practice blends my years of training with practical experience.
I’ve loved medicine deeply. And I’ve felt the quiet erosion that happens when responsibility outpaces capacity.
For a long time, I did what we’re all taught to do.
Push. Cope. Power through.
Until my body and nervous system made it clear: this wasn’t sustainable.
My current practice grew out of that realization. I now pursue my passions in medicine with a holistic, blended approach.
Outside of medicine you can find me dabbling in pottery, biking, skiing, hiking, learning and spending time in nature in the mountains of British Columbia with my pup, my partner, friends and family.
